Kara Chatterton

Kara is a 4th year undergraduate pursuing a biology degree through the College of Creative Studies. Their research investigates the effects of ocean warming on the mutualistic relationships involving cleaner shrimp Ancylomenes pedersoni, their host anemone Bartholomea annulata, and various client fish species. Supported by a SURF grant, they are currently conducting an independent research project to understand how these interactions may be affected. Outside of the lab she enjoys running, surfing, listening to podcasts, and going on roadtrips.
